How Do You Clean 1 8 Carbide Burr?
1 8 carbide burr performs to its best and lasts longer when you do routine maintenance. Syndent 1 8 carbide burr requires simple care which you should do immediately after done with tasks.
We use any of the two methods to remove material deposits from 1 8 carbide burr. We use concentrated muriatic acid or ultrasonic.
When using muriatic acid, remove material deposits from the burr. Follow up by dipping the 1 8 carbide burr in muriatic acid. Leave it for at least 10 minutes. Concentrated muriatic acid dissolves the aluminum deposit and the carbide burr sparkles clean. This method removes aluminum deposits only.
For other materials especially metals, use the most recommended ultrasonic method. Tightly hold the 1 8 carbide burr in the holder to avoid breakage when applying the method. For about 2 minutes or more, run the burr in enzymatic cleaner. Rinse well in clean cold water for two minutes.
Useful note: Insist on always storing the 1 8 carbide burr in respective packaging when not in use. This avoids close contact of flutes which can cause chipping.
